VOICES OF VOLUNTEERING
Welcome to Voices of Volunteering
Celebrating Everyday Heroes
Volunteering is an integral part of our society, a testament to the compassion and community spirit of individuals. It's the dedication of volunteers that allows numerous services and organisations to function, providing support to those in need. Volunteers are the unsung heroes, quietly driving positive change in our communities through their selfless acts.
"Voices of Volunteering" is a genuine tribute to these volunteers who make a difference across the Central Coast. This initiative, developed by Volunteering Central Coast and generously supported by Central Coast Council, aims to recognise these individuals and share their inspirational stories.
Our Everyday Heroes
Voices of Volunteering is a dual-platform, featuring a mini-book and an engaging audio stories. Through these mediums, we aim to shed light on the remarkable work of 18 Central Coast residents who have chosen to dedicate their time, skills, and hearts to volunteering.
These volunteers come from all walks of life, each bringing their unique set of skills, compassion, dedication, and humour. Their stories are a testament to the diversity and depth of volunteering. From supporting young people to caring for the environment, and emergency services, and so much more, their stories are a source of inspiration.
