Through volunteering you can:
- Learn or develop new skills and build your confidence
- Meet interesting and diverse people, make new friends, and gain new experiences
- Improve your health and wellbeing
- Find a new purpose in life
- Follow a pathway to employment and enhance your resume
- Get on-the-job experience in an area of study
We work in partnership with over a hundred local not for profit organisations across the Central Coast, so no matter what your background, skills, experience or life story, there is bound to be a volunteer role that has your name on it.

Child Safety Statement
Volunteering Central Coast is committed to creating safe, inclusive, and respectful environments for all children and young people. We listen to their voices, act on concerns, and take all reasonable steps to protect them from harm.
All our staff, volunteers, and board members follow the NSW Child Safe Standards and our Child and Youth Safe Policy. Relevant staff and volunteers undertake Working with Children Checks, and all staff and volunteers have training, and clear reporting procedures.
Keeping children safe is everyone’s responsibility, and we work in partnership with families, community members, and program sponsors to make this a reality.
