We are pleased to announce the Central Coast Volunteer Celebration Awards, a testament to the extraordinary tapestry of volunteering woven into the fabric of our community. We are committed to honouring the richness of diverse volunteering efforts that make a difference every day.

Volunteering Diversity

Our community thrives because of the variety of skills, experiences, and perspectives our volunteers bring to their work. This year we are changing he awards to focus on volunteer impact and achievement regardless of age, length of service this about those that are making a difference and with whom we couldn’t deliver services, programs, activities, wellbeing and safety. We want to recognise those just starting on their volunteer journeys, those who are the quiet achievers, the leaders and those that overcome personal challenges to contribute to the community.

Our categories this year are:

• Rising Star Awards: Specifically designed for newcomers to volunteering who show exceptional promise and enthusiasm in their volunteer role.

• Volunteer Impact Award: Those whose volunteer efforts have made a significant impact in the community or for the organisation they volunteer with, the impact is measurable in terms of change brought about or lives touched.

• Quiet Hero: For volunteers who contribute significantly but often go unnoticed.

• Leadership Award: Celebrates volunteers who have demonstrated exceptional leadership qualities, inspiring and guiding others.

• Recognise volunteers who have shown exceptional perseverance or adaptability in the face of challenges or changes in their volunteer work or life circumstances.
